Top 10 Announcements of E3 2011

Here is a list of the top 10 announcements we thought made this E3 great (not in any particular order).



1. PSVita
- Sony's new handheld promises to push the bar in terms of portable gaming system power, and functionality.

2. TESIV - Skyrim
- Bethesda's next installment in the Elder Scrolls series. This time dragons have returned to the province of Skyrim, and you (as Dovakiin) must find out their intentions and destroy them before they destroy the land.

3. WiiU
- Nintendo's new console which features both motion controls and/with a new controller that features a screen built in that allows gamers to play in a completely new way.

4. Assassin's Creed - Revelations
- Ubisoft's newest and final installment in the epic Assassin's Creed series. Play as old Ezio as he follows in the footsteps of his ancestor, Altair.

5. Fable: The Journey
- Lionhead's acclaimed series is back and this time is designed specifically for the Kinect. Make your own spells and play in a brand new way as a caravan driver, rather than a hero.

6. Modern Warfare 3
- The newest addition to the CoD series promises to be better than ever expanding on the already amazing Modern Warfare 2.

7. Dead Island
- Play as a survivor of a zombie apocalypse on this tropical island. This game features free roam of the environment with a unique take on missions wiithin a zombie game.

8. Halo 4
- The newest Halo being declared as the beginning of a new trilogy.

9. Battlefield 3
- The newest installment of the Battlefield series. This game features destructible environments, stunning visuals, and just plain old great FPS gameplay.

10. Mass Effect 3
- The final game within this epic trilogy takes the player to Earth as it comes under attack from alien invaders.

*11. Resistance 3
* there were just too many great games, and this one had to be added
- The latest and greatest Resistance yet. This game promises to expand on every aspect of the already amazing Resistance 2.
