The Gateway DX4850 is a ok pc to perform your every day task like surfing the web and enjoying all of your media.This Pc is family pc which means it is not optimized for anything. Which means it not top of the line for gaming or editing videos ect... But it is all around a good pc. It well be able to play pretty much any game out. It will not be able to run the games on high or anything but you will be able to play them. This pc will run you around 599.99 Canadian from Future shop. Which is right around where it should be for what it can do. I would recommended this pc to any family or anyone who just want a ok pc that dose not cost a hand and leg. The only big downside to this Pc is that its video memory is integrated not dedicated which means that you video memory is not that good which will make your games and shit run slower. Plus if it was dedicated then you could upgrade if you wanted to later on.
Overall this pc is really only good for typing, surfing the web and playing most games. I would not get this Pc just because it dose not have dedicated memory. Every thing else is fine. But that's just me.
